• Provides various programs targeted to serve veterans, youth, deaf and hard of hearing, older workers, and dislocated workers.

UpSkill OC is an Orange County United Way initiative designed to close the skills gap in Orange County. Through the training and coaching of underemployed OC residents, Upskill OC will place individuals in middle-skill occupations to contribute to their overall family stability.

If you are a homeowner or renter struggling with forbearance or rent moratoriums, we can help! Community Housing Council can provide housing counseling to help with your housing needs! Housing Counseling is available if you are: an Orange County resident or family, interested in homeownership, an individual renting, or having landlord issues. Call to make an appointment.

The California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) works in partnership with consumers and other stakeholders to provide services and advocacy resulting in employment, independent living, and equality for individuals with disabilities.

DOR administers the largest vocational rehabilitation and independent living programs in the country. Vocational rehabilitation services are designed to help job seekers with disabilities obtain competitive employment in integrated work settings. Independent living services may include peer support, skill development, systems advocacy, referrals, assistive technology services, transition services, housing assistance, and personal assistance services.

• Facilities and scheduling services to screen and interview applicants.
• Résumé searches to match employers’ job openings.
• Facilitation of Employer Advisory Councils in local communities.
• Assistance with job fairs and hiring events.

Services for students with disabilities ages 16-21 include:
• 200 hours of paid work experience
• Up to 40 hours of instruction in employment readiness and soft skills development
